Ranchi, Apr 29: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has begun its core committee meeting in New Delhi to discuss on Shibu Soren's son, Hemant's offer on government formation.
The BJP is said to have deferred its meeting with governor MOH Farookh, which was scheduled at 11 am on Apr 29, to convey its decision to withdraw its support from the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) government.
Earlier, Hemant apologized to the party if his father had hurt the party's sentiments by voting in favor of the UPA in the cut motion and asked for reconsideration its decision to withdraw its support from JMM.
Hemant said that his father is ready to resign if the BJP wants to take charge.
His statement on Soren's willingness to quit is said to have revive the party's interest in the post of the Chief Minister.
The party is expected to declare its verdict later in the day.
