Leadership failure led to Moaist massacre?
New Delhi, Apr 26: The inquiry report on the Dantewada Maoist massacre was on Monday, Apr 26 handed over the the Union Home Ministe P Chidambaram.
The one-man inquiry committee constituting soley of former chief of BSF E N Rammohan submitted the report to home secretary Gopal K Pillai, who later passed it on to the home minister.
The contents of the report on one of the daring and deadliest attack carried out by the Maoists is still unknown.
Quoting sources, a news agency reported that Rammohan has blamed leadership failure during and after the attack, in which 76 lives of security personnel were launched.
The inquiry officer has also reportedly suggested certain measures to thwart such incidents in the future.
P Chidambaram is expected to take necessary action after taking stock of the report.
He is also expected to submit the report to Parliament with an Action Taken Report.
