Lahore, Apr.23 (ANI): Assuring that each and every person involved in former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto's assassination would be brought to justice, Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari has said that '90 percent' of those accused have already been arrested.
Addressing a delegation of mediapersons, Zardari said a 'special group' is investigating Bhutto's assassination, and it would take stern action against all those who tried to derail the probe.
He said the decision to call for a probe by a UN enquiry commission was taken after Parliament and all the four provincial assemblies agreed that it was apt to approach the world body for an impartial investigation.
Earlier, speaking during an inaugural ceremony of 'Benazir Smart Card' in Bahawalpur, Zardari said the Pakistan People's Party (PPP)-led government has given a firm reply to all its critics by transferring key Presidential powers to the Prime Minister.
"We want to rule the hearts of the people. I did not hold on to the presidential powers and transferred them," The Daily Times quoted Zardari, as saying. (ANI)
