Gary Lineker's wife Danielle Bux to front World Cup coverage?

London, April 22 (ANI): Former English footballer Gary Lineker's wife Danielle Bux is reportedly being signed up by ITV to front its World Cup coverage.

Bosses at GMTV want Bux, 30, to add glamour to their programmes from South Africa this summer, and negotiations are at a key stage with the World Cup due to start soon.

"Danielle is well admired here. She will be a viewer favourite," the Daily Star quoted a GMTV insider as saying.

"Plus, she's likely to be in South Africa with Gary this summer so it could be the perfect situation," the insider said.

The Welsh lingerie model will help cover the WAG invasion that is due to accompany the players when they jet out on June 3.

"The story was as much about the girls as the lads last time, so while Danielle may not have the best football brain, she'd be ideal to offer insight into the WAGs' world," the insider stated.

Bux's agent, Becca Barr, confirmed she was looking for work at ITV.

"We are in negotiations with ITV, but no particular topics have been discussed," she added. (ANI)
