Wenger asks Arsenal players to show some character

London, Apr 20 (ANI): Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has asked his players to show some character after blowing their Premier League title chances.

Third-placed Arsenal threw away a two-goal lead in the last 10 minutes to lose 3-2 at Wigan on Sunday.

Wenger, whose side hosts Manchester City on Saturday, said: "The character in the squad becomes important now."

"We have to regain our focus and try to win our next game," The Sun quoted Wenger, as saying.

"At this level you do not want to be always giving excuses. You have to show your quality and character in every single game," he said.

"City and Spurs can still catch us, so we must win at least one of our remaining games," Wenger added. (ANI)
