Indian found dead on Sydney street
Sydney, Apr 12: A 35-year-old Indian has been found dead on a roadside in Sydney on Sunday, Apr 11.
According to police, Dharmendar Singh, hailing from Nadampur village in Punjab, was found on South Street in Granville.
A police official said "The cause of the death will only be known after autopsy is done. The police are investigating the cause of the death."
There has been a steep increase in the number of attacks on Indians, especially on students, in Australia over the past one year.
While some of the attacks have been racist in nature, others have occured due personal enmity or are due to criminal gangs attacking Indian immigrants.
