Washington, Apr 12: US President Barack Obama on Monday, Apr 12, asked Pakistan Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gilani to bring the culprits of 26/11 Mumbai attacks to justice.
Obama met Gilani after his meeting with the Indian Prime Minister Manmonhan Singh on the sidelines of Nuclear Secuity Summit here.
According to sources, Obama told Gilani that India was sincere in improving ties with Islamabad, but wants Pakistan to take action against those responsible for the Mumbai attacks.
"Obama is believed to have said that he also personally believes that Pakistan taking action against those responsible for the Mumbai terrorist attack would be a positive thing," sources said.
Sources further said that there was no commitment to the Pakistani leaders when Gilani raised the issue of a civilian nuclear deal with the US.
During the meeting the US President is understood to have spoken on his desire to have an improved Indo-Pak relationship.
