London, Apr.9 (ANI): Manchester United coach Sir Alex Ferguson has shrugged off his Champions League heartbreak, it seems, as he was found to be in a good mood after "What A Friend", a racehorse he partly owns romped home at 5-2 at Aintree, with tomorrow's big race jockey Ruby Walsh in the saddle.
The Totesport Bowl Steeplechase win gave Sir Alex, 68, half of the owner's 65,370- pound jackpot, The Sun reports.
Sir Alex was fuming on Wednesday after Germany's Bayern Munich dumped Manchester United out of the Champions League.
He raged at the red carding of his defender Rafael. But yesterday, he was all smiles at the Liverpool course.
He told The Sun: "It's fantastic! What A Friend was brilliant? After last night's disappointment, I'm delighted. It takes me away from the stress of my job." (ANI)
