BSF arrests 6 Pak fishermen in Kutch
Ahmedabad, Apr 5: Six Pakistani fishermen were arrested by Crocodile Commandos of Border Security Forces (BSF) when they tried to infiltrate into Indian territory, sources said on Monday, Apr 5.
The infiltration bid took place on Sunday, Apr 3. The boat in which the Pakistanis were travelling was seized from the Sir Creek area in Kutch district.
Sources said, "A boat from the Pakistan side had ventured two km inside the Indian territory near Sir Creek. When our commandos approached the boat they started going back."
According to sources, BSF troops fired a few rounds in the air, following which the Pakistani boat stopped and apprehended six men inside it.
"The six men have been handed over to the intelligence agencies who will be interrogating them," sources said.
Nothing incriminating was seized from them, they added
