26/11: Pak seeks Red Corner notice against Kasab
Islamabad, Apr 4: Pakistan has approached Interpol seeking Red Corner notices for arresting Mumbai terror case accused Ajmal Amir Kasab and Fahim Ansari.
This was revealed by Special Public Prosecutor Malik Rab Nawaz Moon in an anti-terrorism court in Rawalpindi on Saturday, Apr 3.
An anti-terrorism court is conducting the trial of the seven 26/11 attack accused, including LeT operations chief Zakiur Rehman Lakhvi.
The court adjourned the hearing in the case till Apr 17.
According to reports, defence lawyers argued that Kasab and Ansari were not fugitives as they were in the custody of Indian authorities.
The defence lawyers also argued that Kasab's confessional statement could be used only if he was being tried in the same court along with the seven others.
