Kathmandu, Mar 30 (ANI): Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal will continue discussions on the contemporary political situation with leaders of different political parties on Tuesday as well.
In this connection, a delegation of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) is holding a meeting with Prime Minister Nepal at the Singhadurbar this morning.
According to the PM's press advisor Bishnu Rijal, Nepal will hold separate meetings with Nepal Sadbhawana Party chairman Sarita Giri, CPN (Unified) leaders Ram Singh Shrish and Rishi Kattel, Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) Nepal chairman Kamal Thapa, Constituent Assembly (CA) members Bishwanath Agrawal and Shyam Sunder Gupta.
PM Nepal intensified consultations for a timely constitution and peace from last week. He has already met with leaders from other fringe parties and Constituent Assembly members from his party CPN (UML).
Meanwhile, the Madhesi Janadhikar Forum (MJF) staged a rally here to protest against the government's failure to implement the agreement reached with the Madhesi parties and demanding resignation of Madhav Kumar Nepal.
MJF leaders said the party has concluded that the current 22-party government is not capable of solving the current problems and that the constitution cannot be written under this government.
The MJF organised the protest rally as part of its third phase of protest movement to pressure the government to implement the 22-point agreement reached with it in the past as well as the eight-point agreement with the then agitating United Democratic Madhesi Front (UDMF).
The party has announced shutdown in Terai region on April 8 and 9, Nepalnews reports (ANI)
