London, Mar 25(ANI): Nice FC striker Loic Remy has called on Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger to make a fresh bid for him when the next transfer window opens this summer.
Wenger had earlier failed to sign the 11million pound-rated Nice striker in January.
"Arsenal are the club I want to join. I won't deny they are my priority. They are a young, ambitious side and I love to watch them play," The Sun quoted Remy, as saying.
"It is the ideal place for me. I spoke with Thierry about them and asked him lots of questions about life there. That is because I have been an Arsenal fan since I was little. I was not disappointed with what he told me," he added.
He is a former France under-21 international and currently plays for the senior team having earned his first cap in June 2009 against Nigeria.
Remy has also drawn interest from several clubs, which include Italian clubs A.C. Milan and Fiorentina.
He has also been linked with a return to Lyon and a move to Bordeaux. (ANI)
