Man City billions trying to tempt Mourinho back to Premier League

By Super Admin

London, Mar 21 (ANI): Manchester City is trying to tempt Jose Mourinho back to the Premier League, and has asked the Inter Milan coach to name his transfer price.

City is aware that even though Mourinho guided Inter Milan into the Champions League quarterfinals at the expense of Chelsea, he is not happy in Italian football.

Ambitious City are backed by the club owner Sheikh Mansour's billions and he will not shy away at increasing Mourinho's current pay packet of 8.3 million pounds a year.

The Inter Milan boss has a 5.5 million pounds buy-out clause, but that presents no problem for the richest club in the world, who are determined to win the major trophies.

And, in an amazing twist, the current City boss Roberto Mancini could end up back at Inter Milan, The Daily Express reports.

When he replaced Mark Hughes as City boss, Mancini was told that his position would be reviewed in the summer, the paper says.

He is still on friendly terms with Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti despite being shown the door to allow Mourinho to be appointed.

City's big worry as they seek the manager they regard as the best in the business is that Real Madrid are also in the market to hire a top manager in the summer after deciding to ditch Manuel Pellegrini. (ANI)
