Five shot dead, bodies burnt in Bihar
Banka, Mar 21: In an apparent case of personal enmity, six people, including a former village head, were shot dead and their bodies were immediately burnt at village Kolahadih in Bihar's Banka district on Saturday, the police said in media reports.
According to sources, about 50 men on abicyle attacked the vehicle in which former village head Prayag Yadav was traveling with his supporters and open fired at it.
Yadav and five others died on the spot, following which the assailants poured petrol and kerosene on their bodies and set the vehicle on fire.
Old rivalry is being suspected as the motive behind the killings.
