Miami, Mar 17: Scandal-hit golfer Tiger Woods has decided to make a comeback at US Masters, which is the tournament where he won his first major title.
"After a long and necessary time away from the game, I feel like I'm ready to start my season at Augusta," Tiger Woods announced on his website on Tuesday, Mar 16.
Woods has won the masters four times.
The 2010 edition of US Masters is set to begin on Apr 5 and will go on till Apr 11 at Augusta, Georgia.
"The major championships have always been a special focus in my career and, as a professional, I think Augusta is where I need to be, even though it's been a while since I last played," Woods said.
In Dec 2009, the world's number one golfer decided to withdraw from professional golf to repair his marriage after his Nov 2009 car crash brought his multiple extra-martial affairs and his reported sex addiction to the limelight.
