Hyderabad, Mar 11(ANI): K. Sudhakar, the famed car designer and enthusiast of automobiles from Andhra Pradesh, has conjured up scrap materials from various sources for a unique office set up, with almost every facility shaped as a vintage car.

This innovative enthusiast who is much fascinated by vintage cars noted that he has designed the office table, sofas, and teapots, all in the shape of his cherished designs of vintage cars.

He candidly mentioned that it took him nearly three years to set up his dream office, where everything is in shape of vintage cars.

"More than the cost, it is the hard work. I think I must have been to more than 50 junkyards to fetch the right material. I'm so lucky to get 1908 Ford suspensions and Ford's wooden spokes wheel. More than money, money is hardly anything... 30,40 or 50 thousand. But to get the right things, I really worked hard," Sudhakar said.

He has designed an office cabin in such a manner that the 1908 Ford car model can be converted into an office table, all within mere three seconds!

Even, the sofas of his innovative office boast of headlights and wheels of oldie-goldie cars.

Sudhakar has converted the gearbox of a 1937 Willy's Jeep into a pedestal lamp, while a Buffalo Gasoline petrol pump serves as a cabinet for cutlery.

Earlier, Sudhakar had carved out a name for himself for his car museum in the city, the first and the only handmade wacky car gallery in the world.

He is also a Guinness record holder, for making the largest tricycle in the world.

He recalled that after he set up this car museum, visitors expected some cars in his office and this prompted him to convert his simple office into something, which is more interesting.

Sudhkar has already started working on cars in the shape of a ladies shoe, a purse, and also a cosmetic kit.

He is also in the process of making the Nizam's historical jewellery train that will have a dozen bogies with look-alike gems of the erstwhile ruler of Hyderabad. (ANI)
