Board exams: Two more student suicides reported
Ahmedabad/Vadodara, Mar 9: As the students across the country are facing the heat of exams, two separate incidents of student suicides have been reported.
The incidents reported from Ahmedabad and Vadodara are both that of girl students, who were appearing for board exams.
In Ahmedabad, 19-year-old Mohini Boradiya killed herself by hanging herself in her house in Chandlodiya area on Sunday, Mar 7 night.
Based on preliminary investigation, the police has found that the Class XII student took this extreme step as she did not do well in one of the papers in the board exams.
A Class X student identified as Jaimini Barot threw herself in front of a train in Vadodara. Police investigation into the incident to ascertain the reason behind the girl's decision to take the extreme step is on.
