Bangalore, Mar 4: In a desperate bid to save the spiritual leader's image, Nithyananda Dhyanapeetam, Paramahamsa Nithyananda's mission website released a statement rubbishing the sex tape as a 'mix of conspiracy, graphics and rumor'.
Responding to the 'defamatory video on Paramahamsa Nithyananda aired by Sun TV' and other media organisations on Mar 2, Nithyananda's mission website read, "At this moment, we feel that a mix of conspiracy, graphics and rumor are at play in these recent events that have unfolded. We are working on a legal course of action and will come up with updates in due course."
The post came at around 6:40 pm on Wednesday, Mar 3 addressed 'To all our Devotees'.
"In these trying times, we wish to reassure the lakhs of devotees and well-wishers whose sentiments have been deeply hurt by this conspiracy. We thank all the devotees and disciples for standing with us during these times," the statement added.
The Swamiji's Dhyanapeetam, which is a global movement, requested everyone to not lose faith in the religious leader and expressed confidence that those who have received the blessing and grace of Swamiji do not need further explanation.
"Yet we request you to recall the life solutions from Swamiji that continue to provide a powerful spiritual anchor for millions in these turbulent times," it said.
