LeT behind Kabul blasts: Afghan Official
Kabul, Mar 3: In latest update on the Kabul attacks, Afghan intelligence official has said that the Pakistan based Lashkar-e-Toiba was behind the suicide attacks in which 16 people, including six Indians were killed.
A news agency report qouted Saeed Ansari, a spokesman for Afghanistan's intelligence service, as saying that his agency has enough evidence to prove Pakistanis', particularly LeT links behind the attacks.
"We are very close to the exact proof and evidence that the attack on the Indian guest house," he said.
Earlier, Taliban had claimed responsibility for the suicide attacks on Feb 26, in which gunmen wearing suicide vests stormed into residential hotels popular with foreigners, disguised in burqas.
"Our mujahidi (holy warrior) fighters managed to attack in the heart of Kabul city once again," Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid said in a news agency report.
