London, Mar 3 (ANI): England all rounder Andrew Flintoff has admitted for the first time that he might have played his final game.
The all-rounder is contemplating a future without cricket as he struggles to recover from a chronic knee injury.
Flintoff, who had an operation last August after England regained The Ashes, will not play until July at the earliest after further surgery in January.
He could turn to TV work, although the Lancashire ace does not want to be a full-time commentator, The Sun reports.
Flintoff said: "If the worst thing did happen and I can't play cricket, I don't want to arrive at the end of it scratching my head. It is a slim possibility."
"I've seen a lot of cricketers not be prepared for life after cricket," he said.
"They jump into something they don't want to do. I don't want to be in that position," Flintoff added. (ANI)
