Bihar: MLA commits suicide after killing his wife
Patna, Feb 26: JD-U MLA Abhay Singh on Friday, Feb 26, allegedly committed suicide after killing his wife and six-month-old daughter in Patna.
According to police, Abhay Singh, who was elected from Jamui, shot his daughter and wife dead with a gun before killing himself after a quarrel at about 02:00 am.
Abhay Singh's three-year-old elder daughter was with her grandmother in another room at the time of the incident.
Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Leader of the Opposition Rabri Devi rushed to Singh's residence after getting the news.
The bodies have been sent to hospital for post-mortem, police said.
