Woods to stay in Welsh golf pad fortress during Ryder Cup

By Super Admin

London, Feb.20 (ANI): Golfer Tiger Woods has reportedly secured a South Wales home-from-home fortress for absolute privacy during the Ryder Cup in October.

The stronghold is a million pound neo-Georgian mansion recently built alongside the Celtic Manor Resort, the venue for the big event, in Newport, Gwent, where Europe's best golfers will compete with the United States, reports the Daily Express.

Estate agents Fine and Country told the Daily Express that the developers had instructed in the past week for the spacious five-bedroom property to be taken off the market, giving rise to speculation that it was being put on hold for Woods and his entourage.

Maximum security is imperative for Woods after his recent personal crisis.

The property is situated in half an acre of ground with access to a further five acres of private woods. A 300-yard private driveway leads to a gate-secured courtyard. There are three luxury floors of living space plus a huge integral garage and a galleried landing and grand staircase. The master bedroom is en-suite, with jacuzzi, walk-in shower and dressing-room.

The property also includes a cinema, games room and a landscaped rear garden.

The Ryder Cup will be played at Celtic Manor from October 1 to 3. (ANI)
