Evander Holyfield, wife to appear on Dr. Phil Show to solve marriage woes

Washington, Feb 19 (ANI): Former world champion boxer Evander Holyfield and his wife Candi are said to be in talks to appear on the Dr. Phil Show in a bid to try and mend their troubled marriage.

Holyfield, 47, could also be taped going on a mercy mission with Dr. Phil to Haiti to try and help some of the earthquake survivors.

"Its true Evander is in talks with Dr. Phil to appear with his wife on the show next week," Radar Online quoted Holyfield's spokesperson Dwayne Corbitt as saying.

"We are also discussing for both Dr. Phil and Evander to go and visit Haiti also in a bid to help the people out there.

"Evander wants to donate around 40,000 dollars worth of his nutritional products and some bottled water to the people out there and hopefully we will be able to release more details soon," Corbitt added.

Candi had filed a request for a temporary order of protection against her husband after she claimed he hit her in the face following an argument that it was too cold inside their massive mansion. (ANI)
