Mumbai, Feb 15 (ANI): Injured middle-order batsman Yuvraj Singh was on Monday ruled out of the one-day series (ODI) against South Africa beginning on February 21.
Yuvraj Singh is yet to recover from a wrist injury sustained during the second Test match against Bangladesh in Mirpur.
The hard-hitting batsman had a ligament tear in his left wrist and was ruled out of the Test series against the Proteas as well.
The selection committee headed by Kris Srikkanth will meet tomorrow to pick up the ODI squad for the series against South Africa.
India will play three ODIs against South Africa. The first ODI will be played at Jaipur on February 21.
The second ODI will be played at Gwalior on February 23, and the third and final ODI will be played at Ahmedabad on February 27. (ANI)
