Nepal President to arrive on a four-day visit to India on Monday

New Delhi, Feb 13 (ANI): Nepal President Ram Baran Yadav will visit India on a four day State visit starting from Monday.

President Yadav's schedule during his visit in India will be as follows:

On Monday, Yadav will arrive at 12.00 noon in New Delhi. He will hold discussions with Indian Foreign Secretary Nirupama Rao at 6.30 p.m. at Hotel Taj Palace.

On Tuesday morning, the Nepalese President will be given a ceremonial welcome at the forecourt of the Rashtrapati Bhavan.

Later, Yadav will be visiting the Rajghat to pay respects to Mahatma Gandhi at his samadhi.

At 11a.m., President Yadav will meet External Minister S.M. Krishna with at the same hotel.

In the afternoon, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and visiting President Yadav will hold meeting at Hyderabad Hose, followed by signing of bilateral agreements.

In the evening, Vice President Hamid Ansari, Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee, Home Minister P Chidambaram and Leader of the Opposition in Lok Sabha Sushma Swaraj will be meeting Yadav at the same hotel.

At 7.30 p.m., Nepalese President will call on Indian President Pratibha Devisingh Patil at Rashtrapati Bhavan. It will be followed by a banquet.

On Wednesday, Yadav will be attending various programmes in Haridwar and Roorkee and will return to New Delhi on same evening.

On Thursday, Yadav will be attending various programmes in New Delhi and will return to Kathmandu in the evening. (ANI)
