Schumacher surprised with welcome

By Super Admin

London, Feb 12(ANI): Seven-time Formula One world champion Michael Schumacher has said he was surprised that fellow drivers were being nice to him after proving his fitness at a pre-season testing session on Thursday.

"I'm surprised about their reactions, everyone is very pleased for me to be back. but I know things will change," The Daily Express quoted Schumacher, as saying.

The 41-year-old, who has recovered from last year's neck injury, did more than 100 laps in Spain and said that he was feeling fresh as he did when he began his career.

"I feel fresh out of the box. So far it's all about as many laps and kilometres as possible. It's not so much about finetuning yet," he added.

Schumacher has agreed to a seven million pound deal to make a sensational comeback with Mercedes GP four years after he retired from the sport and will be looking forward to grab his eighth championship title this season. (ANI)
