Conclude '84 riot cases in 6 months: Delhi HC
New Delhi, Feb 8: The Delhi High Court on Monday, Feb 8, directed the trial court to conclude the four pending 1984 anti-Sikh riot cases within six months.
A bench comprising Chief Justice AP Shah and Justice Rajiv Sahai directed the trial court to conclude the trials in all four cases within six months.
This development comes after the1984 riot victims pleaded for speedy trials.
The court also appointed a special public prosecutor and an advocate to argue the cases in the trial court and the high court.
