Sydney, Feb.7 (ANI): Australian and New South Wales fast bowler Brett Lee, who is currently out of national reckoning because of a serious elbow injury, has predicted that injured right-arm quick Peter Siddle will fight his way back into the national squad.
Siddle has been sidelined for five months with stress fractures in his back, reports The Daily Telegraph.
While concerned at Australia's pace-bowling injury toll, Lee isn't surprised by it.
"It's disappointing for Sidds because he's a promising bowler, but I know he'll bounce back, he's too good not to," the paper quoted him, as saying.
"It's part of the job, the risks as a fast bowler. I don't care what anyone says, it's the hardest job in the game. It's so taxing. When you have 15 times your bodyweight going through you when you land, injuries are going to happen," Lee said.
People might realise now it's not an easy job being a fast bowler. If it was easy, everyone would be bowling fast for Australia," he added. (ANI)
