Ex-flame tells how Wayne Bridge dumped her for "gold digger" Vanessa Perroncel

London, Feb 07 (ANI): A former lover of Wayne Bridge has said that the soccer star had cheated on her with "gold digger" Vanessa Perroncel.

Model Sam Ramplin claims that she was devastated when she saw the pics of a topless Perroncel, whose affair with John Terry got recently exposed, romping with Bridge in a beach.

"I was very upset and very angry. And now I know for sure what kind of woman she is, I am even more angry," the News of the World quoted Ramplin as telling Sky's Angels TV.

She added: "She is an absolute gold digger. She got together with Wayne and had a baby with him after a very short relationship.

"Then she moved on to his married best friend John Terry - nice!

"Throughout all this, she hasn't shown any remorse whatsoever and certainly no feelings - not for Wayne, not for John Terry's wife, not for their children and not even for her own child with Wayne.

"Maybe Wayne and I would have stayed together if it wasn't for her."

Ramplin feels Bridge is also as selfish as Perroncel.

She said: "Wayne is being portrayed as a little angel in this scandal but he's really not like that at all.

"As far as I'm concerned he is just as thoughtless and selfish as John Terry and treats those who love him just as badly.

"I loved Wayne very much but he picked me up and when he tired of me he cut me off without a second thought."

She added: "He just blanked me and left me feeling hurt and confused. It was very cruel.

"I was gutted - gutted that Wayne never had the decency to tell me there was another woman involved. For me, it was a brutal betrayal.

"And I know it sounds silly, but it also hurt me terribly that he had taken her away on holiday because the whole time we were together, he had never once done anything like that with me, never even bought me a gift."

Ramplin mentioned that Terry used to often accompany her and Bridge.

She said: "John Terry was always out clubbing with us. He and Wayne were inseparable, the best of friends."

Meanwhile, Terry has lost the captaincy of England team, following the exposure of his extra-marital affair with Perroncel. (ANI)
