Melbourne, Feb. 4 (ANI): Australian all-rounder Cameron White, one of his country's finest exponents of Twenty20, believes skipper Michael Clarke will improve his record in the shortest form of the game, starting with tomorrow night's clash at the MCG against Pakistan.
Clarke averages 41 in ODIs, but only 19.63 in Twenty20.
The Age quoted White as saying: "Michael is a fantastic player and has shots all round the wicket and in this format of the game it takes a while to work out where you can play those sort of shots."
"Having played so much cricket he will work that out very quickly. I have no doubt he will adapt his game to Twenty20 as well," he added.
He said that if he given an opportunity to captain Australia in a Twenty20 international, it would be great.
"There would be a different level of pressure involved, but I am pretty confident I could do a good job," White said. (ANI)
