Bhopal, Feb 3: Inspector General of Police (Special Forces) Rajendra Kumar, who hit the headlines on Tuesday, Feb 3 for praising 26/11 terrorist Ajmal Amir Kasab, has been stripped off his post and transferred to police headquarter here.
The Madhya Pradesh government's step came on Wednesday, Feb 3, just a day after Kumar hailed the lone surviving Pakistani terrorist of the 2008 Mumbai terror attacks for his fitness.
Addressing the inaugural function of 11th Madhya Pradesh Police Shooting Competition at Reoti Range, the IG used the example of Kasab to stress the importance of training.
“An example is the Pakistani terrorist Ajmal Kasab. He just studied upto Class eight and had just one year training. With this he could operate weapons and gadgets and GPS devices. He could do this because he had passion and he trained very well. He could operate technology well because he trained himself well," he had said.
