Mumbai, Feb 2: The political storm over the north Indian migrants in Mumbai issue refuses to die down as Shiv Sena has now launched a retaliatory attack against Rahul Gandhi.

"Rahul Gandhi has insulted the bravery of martyrs like Hemant Karkare, Ashok Kamte, Vijay Salaskar, Tukaram Omble, all daring Marathi policemen, and NSG Major Sandeep Unnikrishan," the Shiv Sena Executive President said in response to Congress General Secretary's statement that NSG men from north India were involved in fighting 26/11 terrorists.

"Where was Rahul Gandhi when Mumbai was attacked," Uddhav questioned on Tuesday, Feb 2.

On Monday, Feb 2, Rahul Gandhi came down heavily up on the anti-Marathi stand of Shiv Sena and Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS).

He said that the NSG commandos, who bravely fought the terrorists during the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks, included men from north Indian states such as Uttar Pradesh and Bihar.

"If terrorists have to be fought with, let Biharis remain there," he said.
