After Oz Open win, very fit Federer wants to go skiing

By Super Admin

Melbourne, Feb.2 (ANI): Fresh from his Australian Open victory in Melbourne and his 16th Grand Slam title, a very fit Roger Federer has said that he would like nothing better than to go skiing.

At 28 you would expect Federer to complain about the odd ache and pain after a fortnight of tennis, but the joy of a fourth victory at Melbourne shows in his body language and his health.

Dressed in jeans and a casual top bearing his "RF" logo, and lounging back in his chair in the players' lounge, he said he felt fine.

"I don't feel too tired. I'm surprised. I think by now I know my body so well and I've gone through these situations so many times that I'm not so exhausted," Federer said.

In the past, he said, he would press the 'off' button and "let my body heal".

"Today, it's very different. I feel like I could go skiing tomorrow - no problem. I'm not going to do that, but I feel fresh," The Independent quoted him, as saying. (ANI)
