London, Feb 1 (ANI): Rafa Benitez has said that he has not agreed a deal to take the Juventus job at the end of the season.
Speculation in Italy claimed that the Serie A giants, who last week hired coach Alberto Zaccheroni on a short-term deal, had agreed terms with the Liverpool boss and a delegation were flying to Merseyside to thrash out an agreement with the club.
"Contrary to reports in the Italian media, I want to make it absolutely clear I have no agreement with Juventus and have not - and will not - be meeting Juventus or their representatives or any other club," The Sun quoted Benitez, as saying.
"I have a long-term contract with Liverpool and I am happy here. My only focus is to do my job as well as I can to get the team back into the top four, beginning with the derby against Everton on Saturday," he added. (ANI)
