SL police raid Fonseka's office: Aide
Colombo, Jan 29: Sri Lankan police raided the office of General Sarath Fonseka on Friday, Jan 29, an aide said.
This came two days after troops had surrounded him inside a hotel on suspicion he was plotting a coup.
Defeated Presidential candidate, Fonseka has been alleged of planning to eliminate president Mahinda Rajapaksa and his family.
"The police Special Task Force broke into the office of Sarath Fonseka," aide Asanka Madegara was quoted by news agency as saying,
