Hyderabad, Jan 27: Taking offense to the government ignoring the turmoil in the state over Telangana statehood, the 'T' activists threatened to disrupt the Indian Premier League (IPL) matches scheduled to take place in Hyderabad.
A total of four IPL 3 matches are scheduled to be held in Andhra Pradesh.
According to media reports, the activists want the government to concentrate on more important issues such as that of the demand for a separate state rather than worrying about providing security to entertainment events.
Earlier, the IPL 3 governing body was forced to shift the opening match from Hyderabad to Mumbai due to the same issue.
