New Delhi, Jan 27 (ANI): Appreciating the initiatives taken by the Delhi Government, the Supreme Court on Wednesday asked all the states of the country to execute the night shelter schemes for the destitute and homeless people.
The Supreme Court said, "It is a human problem. Everyday people are dying."
A bench, headed by Justice Dalveer Bhandari issued instructions while escalating the scope of the PIL filed by the People's Union for Civil Liberties (PUCL), asking for adequate night shelters to be provided to the homeless on account of the cold weather.
Notices have been sent to all the States and Union Territories for executing the night shelter schemes. (ANI)
