Butler beats Boyle to become Scot of The Year
London, Jan.25 (ANI): Hollywood actor Gerard Butler has been named Scot of the Year ahead of singer Susan Boyle after an Internet vote.
Butler received 66 per cent of votes, while Boyle got 26 per cent of the vote. Poet Robert Burns came third with five per cent.
Over 2,000 people took part in the poll run by ScotsCare, a charity that provides financial assistance and employment and training opportunities to Scots living in London, reports The Scotsman. (ANI)
