Brisbane, Jan.21 (ANI): Leaving behind the 3-0 drubbing in the Test series, Pakistan is looking to set the record straight with Australia in the one-day series starting here from Friday (January 22).

The Pakistani camp is upbeat by the return of experienced players like Younis Khan and devastating all rounder Shahid Afridi, while captain Mohammed Yousuf has declared that the one-day series would not a 'one-sided' affair like the Test series.

"The results in the one-day series are going to be different. It's not going to be one-sided like the Test series because we are a very strong one-day side," Yousuf said.

He pointed out that fielding was a major concern for the visitors, and the players were working hard to improve their skills on the field.

"We lost the Test series mainly because we dropped too many catches. But the return of senior players like Younis and Afridi is going to help us do better in that department. They are senior players and will give us a big boost in the one-dayers," The News quoted Yousuf, as saying.

Pakistan's fielding was at its worst during the three-Test match series, which saw them dropping 14 catches.

"We are taking all possible steps to ensure that there are no more dropped catches in the one-day series or at least they are minimised," said team manager Abdul Raqueeb. (ANI)
