Karachi, Jan.20 (ANI): Pakistan middle-order batsman Younis Khan, who has joined the squad in Australia for the forthcoming one-day series, hopes to play some big innings to help his team win the series and revive his sagging career.

"I am fully focused and will do my best to score big and hope that I help my team win because we need wins," Khan said.

Khan, who opted out of the New Zealand tour in November last year citing rest from the hectic international schedule, said he would give his all to help Pakistan do well in the one-day series starting in Brisbane from January 22.

"I took the break to rest myself but always said that whenever my team needs me I will be there to play," The News quoted Khan, as saying.

Khan alongwith Fawad Alam, Khalid Latif and Rao Iftikhar would be joining the national team ahead of the first one-day international. All-rounders Shahid Afridi and Rana Naved-ul-Hasan, who are already in Australia playing a T20 tournament, would also add to Pakistan's strength. (ANI)
