Price of milk may increase: Sharad Pawar
New Delhi, Jan 20: Adding more burden on the budget of the common man, who is already suffering the price rise in Sugar, Union Agriculture Minister Sharad Pawar asked the country to be prepared to shell out more money for milk too.
The minister on Wednesday, Jan 20 said that the price of milk is expected to go up due to scarcity of milk in north India.
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has taken to protest over the rise in the prices of essential commodities.
Reports suggest that senior BJP leader LK Advani is expected to meet Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Wednesday, Jan 20 to discuss the issue.
