Pak extends detention of 36 Indian prisoners
Lahore, Jan 19: Federal Review Board comprising three judges of the Supreme Court on Monday, Jan 18, extended the detention of 36 Indian prisoners for 90 days as the government is yet to complete formalities for their deportation.
The Indians, who are among 47 foreigners jailed in Pakistan, have completed their jail sentences.
Out of the 36 Indians, three are from Jammu and Kashmir, while the 11 foreign prisoners are nationals of Nepal, Yemen and Sudan.
The prisoners, including five women, were convicted for different offences.
