Islamabad, Jan 19: A movie on life and achievements of the slain former prime minister of Pakistan, Benazir Bhutto, is reportedly in the making.
According to a report in Dawn, close friend of Bhutto and a leading British producer and filmmaker are working on a feature film titled 'Benazir Bhutto- Destiny'.
Victoria Schofield and Farah Durrani, in collaboration with Insha Taqi Pauwels of Silverstream Productions, are working on the project, said the report published on Tuesday, Jan 19.
The movie on the extraordinary courage of a daughter, a mother, a politician and a woman is expected to be released in 2012, around the fifth death anniversary of Ms Bhutto in 2012.
A member of the team working on the project reportedly told Dawn that the team is at present finalising the script after which it will choose the cast.
Both Victoria and Farah personally knew Benazir Bhutto, which they say gives them a unique insight into her world and her life and makes them a perfect match to take her story to the big screen, the report added.
