Malaysian PM to arrive in New Delhi tomorrow

New Delhi, Jan.18 (ANI): Malaysian Prime Minister Dato' Sri Mohd Najib Tun Abdul Razak will arrive in the national capital on a five-day State visit to India.

He is scheduled to arrive at Palam's Air Force Station at 5.20 p.m. by a special aircraft.

During his State visit (Jan. 19 to 23) which beings from Tuesday, the Malaysian Prime Minister on Wednesday (Jan.20) will attend the Ceremonial Reception at the Forecourt of Rashtrapati Bhavan at 10.00 a.m. and will proceed to lay wreath at the Mahatma Gandhi's samadhi at Rajghat at 10.30 a.m.

The Malaysian PM will then hold a meet with the External Affairs Minister, S.M.Krishna, at Hotel Taj Palace.

At 12.00 p.m., Dato' Sri Mohd Najib Tun Abdul Razak will call on President Pratibha Devisingh Patil at the Rashtrapati Bhavan.

At 3.30 p.m., the Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha, Sushma Swaraj, will meet the visiting Malaysian Prime Minister.

After that Malaysian PM will then meet United Progressive Alliance chairperson Sonia Gandhi at her resident 10, Janpath at 4.50 p.m.

At 6.15 p.m., the visiting Malaysian PM will meet Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh at the Hyderabad House where India and Malaysia will hold delegation-level-talks and it will be followed by signing of agreements between the two nations.

On Thursday (Jan.21), Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi will meet the visiting Prime Minister at 10.30 a.m. at the Hotel Taj Palace in New Delhi.

After that, the Malaysian PM will leave for Tamil Nadu at 1.15 p.m. He will spend two days in Chennai and attend some programmes.

On Jan.23, Malaysian PM will leave for Kaula Lumpur at 2.30 p.m. (ANI)
