London, Jan.17 (ANI): Coach Roberto Mancini has written off Manchester City's Premier League title chances for now.
According to the Daily Express, Mancini says he will be happy with a place in the top four and does not want his team or the fans to get carried away.
"For now our target is to finish in the top four. And there are six or seven teams who can finish there. It can change quickly. In a month or so more teams could be involved. "Two or three months ago City, with the same squad, drew seven games in a row," Mancini said.
"City were a good team but sometimes the squad won't play well and win; sometimes they will play well and lose or draw. There is still a long way to go, 18 games for us. The important thing is that we keep improving in every game. It's important our mentality is the same in every game. We have good players with a good mentality," he added. (ANI)
