Bangalore, Jan 17 (ANI): Caricatures of cartoonists from various parts of the world are on display at an exhibition here.

State Governor Hans Raj Bhardwaj inaugurated the exhibition and appreciated the work done by the artists.

"So much effort has been put by artists and it's quite interesting to watch. It all shows the contribution made by these two great personalities in the Indian... that people have taken so much interest other wise nobody draws the attention of cartoonists and artists so much," he said.

The caricatures by cartoonists from across the world surprised many viewers.I am surprised by the number of entries it has received specially from other countries like china and Russian countries are there. So, the exhibition is excellent," said Subhash Aggarwal, a visitor.

Iranian cartoonists Vahid Jafari and Salam Mohammadi received the first and second prizes for their Manmohan Singh illustrations in the Contest whereas the third prize was granted to Sandeep Adhwaryu from India.
