India's swine flu death toll at 1,108
New Delhi, Jan 15: Swine flu continues to claim lives in the country. With eight new swine flu deaths reported on Thursday, Jan 14, the country's H1N1 death toll mounts to 1,108.
62 new cases of Swine flu reported from across the country has taken the total number of people affected with the contagious virus to 28,047.
Out of the eight latest fatalities, three were reported from Gujarat, two from Rajasthan and one each from Maharashtra, Punjab and Madhya Pradesh.
Maharashtra still holds the record of highest number of deaths with the state's toll at 297.
