Iceland's first lady creates scare in Mumbai
Mumbai, Jan 15: Iceland's first lady Dorrit Moussaieff created quiet a scare when she went 'missing' for over six hours.
On Monday, Jan 12, the Mumbai police was alerted, at around 11:30 am, on the Iceland President Olafur Ragnar Grimsson's wife going 'missing' from her suite at Hotel Trident.
“A team of around 25 policemen deployed for her immediately informed us at the police station after which more men were pressed into action," a senior officer at Marine Drive police station said.
“We were about to launch a manhunt for the President"s wife across the city, when she walked into the hotel with shopping bags," he added.
The officer added that Maussaieff also visited a spa in the time she was untraceable.
The Iceland president and his wife were in India on an official visit.
