Attari Border, Jan.12 (ANI): Border Security Force (BSF) has caught a Pakistani boy who illegally crossed into Indian Territory on Tuesday afternoon.

According to sources, the Numan Arshad (13) son of Ramzan Arshad resident of Lahore was arrested by the BSF personnel near border gate of 101 at Attari sector. He was carrying a chemistry book and Pakistani Rs.10 with him. It seems he inadvertently crossed into the Indian territory.

On Monday, in a similar incident, a 12-year-old Ateequee Khan, who crossed the border unchecked and landed at Attari railway station as he was boarding the Samjhauta Express train.

At least four Pakistani teenagers have been arrested by the BSF in recent days who were eager to see the India-Pakistan border. However, the Border guards later handed over the boys to Pakistani Rangers after a Flag Meeting.

It is worth mention that Border guards at the International Border between India and Pakistan, during their bi-annual and annual meetings, agreed to return all people who appear to have inadvertently crossed into each other's territory, within 24 hours of being caught.

India suspended a peace process begun 2004, which had brought better ties, and there has been no progress towards resuming it. However, such a camaraderie between the two countries still delights. By Ravinder Singh Robin (ANI)
