London, Jan 10: A Sikh man of Indian origin was stabbed to death by two robbers in east London, police said on Sunday, Jan 10.
31-year-old, Singh was attacked while trying to stop two robbers who snatched a woman's handbag near Barking station.
According to metropolitan Police, "When he caught up with the pair a fight broke out and he was knifed around 7 pm on Friday, Jan 9.
Detective Inspector of Metropolitan Police John Sandlin said, "This is a tragic death of a man who was killed for attempting to stop others committing crime, and our thoughts are with Sukhwinder's family."
"Singh was not connected to the woman whose bag was snatched," Sandlin added.
